Fire Rips Through Rocklin Home Overnight
ROCKLIN (CBS13) - Fire crews were called back out to a fire that all but destroyed a Rocklin home overnight.
The fire initially broke out at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at the home on Midas Avenue and High Street, but it reignited around 5 a.m. Thursday.
Neighbors called 911 when they saw the home first catch fire. One person was inside the home at the time of the blaze, and was able to make it out with just minor injuries.
The fire damaged about 80 percent of the home. It took 19 firefighters to put out the flames.
"The fire was fully involved; flames quickly spread to the trees and were quickly suppressed by the fire personnel on the scene."
Investigators hope to know the cause of the fire this morning.
