Fire Fighters Searching For Owner Of Dog Rescued From Culvert

ARNOLD, Calif. (CBS13) – Firefighters in Calaveras County are looking for the owners of a dog that had been trapped in a pipe.

The dog was discovered in the culvert pipe on Monday night in a pipe under the parking lot of an Ace Hardware store in Arnold.

It took fire fighters from the Ebbetts Pass Fire District two hours to dig the dog out of the pipe.

The dog is weak and cannot yet stand after its time in the pipe.

The dog has a collar but no ID tag.  The rescued pooch being cared for by the Arnold Veterinary Clinic until its owner can be found.
