Fairfield Police Searching For Suspects In Fatal Store Robbery
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (CBS13) – Fairfield police are searching for suspects in a store robbery that turned deadly.
The robbery happened shortly before 8:00 on Tuesday night at east Travis Boulevard and North Texas Street.
The owner of the Travis Dairy called police saying his store had been robbed and that he needed an ambulance.
The victim died while being transported to the hospital and while giving police a description of his attackers.
The suspects got away with the store's cash register and a video recorder.
Witnesses reported seeing three black males in the late teens enter the store at the time of the robbery. The suspect vehicle is described as a brown or tan late model Honda or similar car.
