Fairfield Child Not Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Stepfather To Death
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — No arrest has been made in the stabbing death of a man allegedly at the hands of his wife's son.
The 45-year-old man, who was not identified, was found dead in a home on the 700 block of Overture Lane on Sunday with stab wounds. His wife had called police saying she couldn't wake him up.
Further investigation found there had been an argument between the husband and wife that had turned physical, and the woman's son took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her husband.
Investigators, along with the Solano County District Attorney's office and child welfare services, have decided not to make an arrest at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
The child's precise age was not disclosed, but he is under the age of 13.
