Elk Grove Soccer Coach Pleads Guilty To Sex With Teen Player
ELK GROVE (CBS 13) – An Elk Grove youth soccer coach pleaded guilty Thursday to four felony charges of sexual misconduct, Sacramento County District Attorney Jan Scully announced.
Arthur Temblador, 36, was a coach for the Everton Soccer Club. Temblador engaged in sexual misconduct with one of his players from the summer of 2010 to the spring of 2011, Scully said. The victim was between the ages of 15 to 16 at the time and the conduct occurred in four different counties.
Under a plea agreement, Temblador will serve 4 years, 4 months in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender for life. Sentencing is set for Oct. 27.
