Elk Grove Police Searching For Robber Wearing Pajamas

ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Elk Grove police are asking for help in finding a man who robbed a gas station while wearing his pajamas.

The theft happened on April 27 at the Chevron on Laguna Boulevard just after 3:00 a.m.

The suspect walked into the gas station, simulated a gun and demanded cash.

The employee opened the cash register and the PJ-clad suspect grabbed the money and ran off.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, 30 to 35 years old, 5'7" tall and weighting about 240 pounds He has a shaved head, and a mustache.  The suspect was carrying a light colored jacket over his right shoulder and was wearing an orange shirt with plaid pajama pants.   

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357).  Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
