Search For Suspect On Roof Of Elk Grove Shopping Center Comes Up Empty
10:35 a.m. Update: Police say the businesses have been reopened. Officers have not been able to locate the suspect.

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - Multiple police officers have set up a perimeter near a popular shopping center in Elk Grove Thursday morning.
The scene is just off Laguna Boulevard, near Stockton Boulevard, just west of Highway 99.
Elk Grove police say a man apparently broke into the Cold Stone Creamery at the shopping center. Officers believe he is now on the roof of Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Officers believe the suspect may have been cutting through roof tops to try and break into the buildings at the shopping center.
