Elk Grove Native Takes Command In Europe
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – An Elk Grove native is invading Europe.
Maj. Gen. Terry A. Wolff has moved up the ranks in the military and is now the Deputy Commanding General and Chief of Staff U.S. Army Europe as of today.
He is also Commanding General of the 1st Armored Division.
Wolff was commissioned an Armor officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in 1979.
Wolff has served many tours of duty. Prior to his most recent assignment, he served on the National Security Council as a Senior Director for Iraq and Afghanistan.
