Elk Grove Gas Station Goes Up In Flames
ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Fire fighters battled a large fire at an Elk Grove gas station that broke out just before noon.
Cosumnes fire crews were able to douse the flames quickly at the Shell Station at the corner of Elk Grove Florin and Elk Grove roads after first confirming no one was left inside.
The fire apparently broke out in the mechanic's shop of the station.
At least one nearby business was evacuated and workers sent home for the day.
