Elderly Man Dies In West Sacramento Trailer Fire
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – An elderly man is dead following a fire at a mobile home park in West Sacramento.
The fire broke out at the elderly couple's trailer at around 8 a.m. at the Westwood Estates trailer park located at 1399 Sacramento Avenue. Both residents were asleep when the fire started, according to the West Sacramento Fire Chief. He does not know if one of them was smoking at the time. Both residents were on oxygen.
The 80-year-old female victim made it out of the home alive, but a man was trapped inside and died. Firefighters went inside to put out hot spots and found the man.
