Man Arrested For Stabbing Grandfather To Death
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento Police have arrested the grandson of an elderly man who was found dead in his home Monday morning.
Police got a 911 call from a woman inside the house near 64th Avenue and Amherst Street this morning around 6:15 a.m. Dispatchers heard someone in the home screaming and originally thought it was a burglary.
When officers arrived, they found the man in his 80's, dead with stab wounds to his upper body.
Detectives say the man and his grandson, Arondrei Abel-Bey, 33, got into a heated argument that escalated to the point that Arondrei stabbed his grandfather multiple times.
Neighbors tell CBS13 News the victim had lived in the home for years, and that the suspect, his girlfriend and their five children were also living in the home.
