Preliminary Magnitude 3.3 Quake Shakes East Bay

BERKELEY (CBS) — A magnitude 3.3 earthquake rattled some East Bay residents early Wednesday afternoon, according to the US Geological Survey.

The quake reportedly happened at 12 p.m. and was centered a half mile west of Kensington, about 1.2 miles east-southeast of El Cerrito.

So far there have been no reports of injuries or damage from the earthquake, but there were a number of reports of the quake on social media.
