Driver Taken To Hospital After Slamming Into Sacramento Home

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A driver is in the hospital this morning after crashing their car into a Sacramento home.

The accident happened on Hermitage Way and Calvine Road just after midnight.  The driver apparently lost control and slammed into the home where a woman was sleeping on a couch.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  The woman inside the home was not hurt.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash and are looking into whether alcohol may have played a role.
