Driver Injured In Collision With School Bus
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A driver who may have run a red light is in the hospital after colliding with a school bus in north Sacramento early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers believe the car was traveling on Longview Road on the overpass above Interstate 80 when the driver appeared to run a red light around 6:15 a.m.
The driver of the car reportedly pulled out in front of a San Juan Unified School District school bus that had a green light.
The driver of the car had to be extricated from the wreckage before being taken to the hospital.
No students were on board the school bus.
