Disabled Man Robbed Of Special Bicycle At Gunpoint
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A man with cerebral palsy was robbed of his special bicycle during a senseless crime last week.
The victim was riding his special three-wheeled bicycle on Juan Road and Rancho Silva Drive at 1:30 a.m. on Friday when two men walked up and pointed gun at the man and ordered him to hand over his money and his bicycle, said Sacramento Police spokesman Norm Leong. The suspects apparently took the items and left.
The bicycle is the victim's primary mode of transportation. The distinctive bike is blue, has a chrome handlebar, a black seat and has a black basket on the back.
One of the suspects is described as black, 6' tall, with a muscular build and was wearing a black sweater and jeans. He is described as being 18-20 years old. The second suspect is described as black, 17-19 years old, with a thin build and was wearing a puffy jacket and jeans.
