Detectives: Turlock Man Accused Of Having 10,000 Child Porn Images On Hard Drives
TURLOCK (CBS13) - A Turlock man is accused of being in possession of thousands of images of child pornography, authorities say.
The Turlock Police Department says they've been investigating 42-year-old Gary Bishop since last month. Detectives suspected Bishop was sharing sexually explicit images of children on the internet.
Working under a search warrant, several computer hard drives belonging to Bishop were seized.
Investigators say they've found more than 10,000 images of child porn on the drives.
Bishop was arrested on Thursday. Detectives say they do not have any information at this time that Bishop personally victimized any children.
