Detectives Identify Suspect In North Sacramento Murder

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A 20-year-old man is being sought in connection with the death of a woman Saturday evening, authorities said.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said Angelo Wright is believed to be responsible for killing a woman in her 40s in an apartment on the 5400 block of College Oak Drive.

An elderly man flagged down a bystander for help shortly after 5:00 p.m. Saturday, leading the man into an apartment where the victim lay unresponsive and suffering from trauma to her upper body. Paramedics pronounced woman dead at the scene.

Wright is described as a black male, about 5'7" tall, weighing about 165 pounds and is known to frequent the Foothill Farms area, according to investigators.
