Detectives: Argument Between Neighbors Leads To Fatal Shooting
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Deputies have arrested two men in connection to a shooting that left 22-year-old man dead Saturday night.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of S. Olive Avenue in Stockton around 9 p.m. Saturday after several 911 calls reported a shooting in front of a home in the area.
At the scene, deputies found a man – later identified as 22-year-old Bobby Jack Chrisman – suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Paramedics that soon arrived at the scene pronounced the man dead.
Detectives believe the man was killed after an argument between neighbors escalated to a shooting. Both sides of the fight may have pulled out firearms before the shooting, detectives say.
One man – 46-year-old Timothy Lee Hagen – was detained and eventually arrested at the scene on charges of murder and burglary. Sunday evening, a second man – 20-year-old Zack Hagen – turned himself in to investigators. He was also booked at San Joaquin County Jail on charges of murder and burglary.
