Deputies Use Taser On Man Claiming To Have A Weapon
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies tased and arrested a man who had apparently been drinking and claimed to have a weapon.
The incident happened at an apartment complex on Watt and Whitney avenues in Sacramento.
The man was apparently drunk and causing a disturbance when Sheriff's deputies got to the complex.
Deputies say the man had his hands behind is back and claimed to have a knife and a gun.
They tased him for their safety and took him into custody on charges of being drunk in public.
