At Least Two Shot At North Highlands Apartment Complex
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) — Two people were shot near an elementary school in North Highlands.
The shooting happened at an apartment complex on the 3800 block of Madison Avenue. Both victims were transported to the hospital, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies are searching for a suspect in the area of Madison Elementary School.
The school was on lockdown, but that has since been lifted and students are being released.
