Deputies: Man Accidentally Shoots Himself
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -– A Sacramento man is recovering this morning after accidentally shooting himself during a night of drinking, according to Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies.
Deputies were called to a home on Crimson Sage Court in South Sacramento County for a 9-1-1 call regarding a shooting.
Deputies found a 36-year-old man with a bullet wound in his chest. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to deputies.
They say the man had been drinking and holding the gun when it went off.
The shooting is still under investigation.
