Deputies Arrest Woman Accused Of Walking Away From Hospital
Deputies have captured a suspect who's accused of walking away from a hospital in Placerville.
Kylee Clifton was arrested for reportedly filling her purse with jewelry from a local Wal-Mart. But she didn't get very far. She fell asleep and was caught by deputies; and gave them a false name, according to a statement from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department.
Clifton also slept through the jail booking process -- a side-effect of having heroin in her system, according to the sheriff's department.
She was admitted to Marshall Hospital where she escaped on Tuesday afternoon.
Considered a low-risk offender, Clifton was rearrested on Friday morning and faces additional charges relating to her escape.
