Deputies Arrest 2 Men In South Sacramento After Domestic Violence Call
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Deputies have arrested two suspects in connection a domestic violence call and pursuit in South Sacramento.
The incident began around 6:39 a.m. near the Sun Valley Apartments, at 50th Avenue and 47th Streets, where Sacramento County Sheriff's Department deputies were sent to investigate a domestic violence call. After the deputies arrived, the two suspects reportedly drove off in a vehicle.
Deputies managed to pull over the vehicle on Highway 50. One suspect got out and allegedly became "combative," requiring a deputy to subdue him using a stun gun. The other man got out of the vehicle and ran away northbound, but was quickly caught by other officers.
Deputies found two handguns inside the car.
The two men are also being questioned in connection with the armed robbery of a nearby convenience store on Tuesday morning.
A man was shot and killed at the Sun Valley Apartments on Monday morning.
