Dennis Rodman Sentenced In Family Court For Failing To Pay Child Support
ORANGE, Calif. (AP) — Flamboyant former NBA star Dennis Rodman has been sentenced in Southern California to 104 hours of community service after being found guilty of contempt for failing to pay child support.
An Orange County family court commissioner on Tuesday also sentenced Rodman to three years of informal probation. The sentence includes the condition he pay current child and spousal support obligations. The court hearing remains under way.
Rodman married in 2003 and his wife filed for divorce a year later. Since then, the former couple has been feuding over custody and support of their two children, ages 10 and 11.
Rodman was found guilty of four counts of contempt last year for child support owed in 2009 and 2010.
