DeMarcus Cousins' Manager Tossed After Altercation With Houston Rockets' Jason Terry
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The manager of Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins was ejected from Tuesday night's game after an altercation with a Houston Rockets player.
Jason Terry of the Houston Rockets attempted to brace himself heading into the seats along the baseline after a Ben McLemore dunk and nudged Rogers with his left hand. Rogers appeared to take exception to it and smacked Terry's hand as the player walked away.
A standoff ensued, and eventually Rogers was ejected from Sleep Train Arena. A second fan was later tossed, as well.
The Kings went on to win, 107-97. The team was without Rajon Rondo, who was serving a one-game suspension for slinging a gay slur at a referee during a Dec. 3 game against the Boston Celtics in Mexico City. That referee disclosed on Monday that he is gay.
