Crime-Solving Canines?
It was just weeks before Christmas, 2008 and Steven and Linda Riley, both in their 50's, were found stabbed to death in their Natomas home. Their bodies were discovered when they did not show up for their state jobs.
"This crime scene had blood everywhere," said deputy district attorney Chris Ore.
However, none of the blood pointed to a suspect. Police began their investigation and their focus turned to the couple's son, Matthew.
For the first time, the deputy district attorney turned to a cutting-edge crime fighting technique.
"...the results were very, very compelling," said Ore.
