FAIRFIELD, Calif. (AP) -- Fire officials say crews are "mopping up" after a large grass fire consumed about 715 acres in the hills near Fairfield.

CalFire Assistant Chief Dave Shew says no homes or structures have been burned in the fire, which broke out about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Fire crews from throughout Solano County and nearby agencies were called in to battle the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
