Crews Clear Snow And Trees To Gain Access To Remote Patient In Blue Canyon
BLUE CANYON (CBS13) — Cal Fire responded to a remote area medical call in Blue Canyon.
Crews hiked through 2 to 3 feet deep snow to reach the patient.
Due to the remote location, crews had to use a Cal Fire dozer to clear trees and snow to gain access.
Using a tracked vehicle, crews were able to extract the patient and transport them to a local hospital.
