Couple Found Dead In Possible Murder-Suicide
TURLOCK, Calif. (AP) -- Police are considering a couple found fatally shot in a sport utility vehicle on a residential Turlock street as a likely case of murder-suicide.
Turlock police Lt. Ron Reid says officers responded late Monday afternoon to a 911 call reporting that a woman had been shot.
They arrived to find a man and a woman dead in the vehicle's front seat.
A preliminary investigation found that the 33-year-old woman from Turlock and the 34-year-old man from Keyes were in a relationship but did not live together. Police did not immediately release their names.
Officers recovered a gun at the scene. Police did not say who they believed fired the shots.
