Coroner: Sacramento Toddler Found Dead In Apartment Died From Blunt Abdominal Trauma
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A 2-year-old boy found dead in an Arden-Arcade apartment died of blunt abdominal injury, according to the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
The mother found her son unresponsive at their Arden-Arcade apartment in the 2900 block of Watt Avenue, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Officers say she had left him with a babysitter, a man who lives at the same apartment complex.
Neighbor Linda Hernandez did her best to save her friend's baby boy by performing CPR. Hernandez says the mother was upstairs screaming, saying her child wasn't breathing.
