Cool 70s Fill Weekend; Mid-Week Brings Rain, Snow
Friday's near-record high warmth and sunshine took a backseat Saturday to cloud cover and slightly cooler temperatures in the low 70s.
A weak storm will cross Northern California late-Saturday going into Sunday, which will bring the chance of limited rain and a couple inches of snow for elevations above 6,000 feet.
Valley rain will be minuscule, but it doesn't rule out the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm in the valley or foothills Sunday.
Monday will mean a lull in action and cloudiness as a weak ridge of high pressure builds into the area, giving us plenty of sunshine to enjoy.
However, it will quickly be replaced by a storm system brewing in the Gulf of Alaska. Then, Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a stronger and colder storm that could produce up to an inch or rain and a foot of snow.
Thunderstorms are also possible on Wednesday in the valley and foothills.
