Controversial Billboard, Called Porn By Some, Is Back Up In Placer County

AUBURN (CBS13) - A controversial local billboard, some said looked like porn, is back up in Placer County.   

The company that owns the billboard, CBS Outdoor, decided to put the California Sun advertisement back up in the town of Auburn.

The original billboard, located just past Bell Road and Highway 49, was vandalized and taken down last month.  The billboard shows a bikini-wearing model on a beach at Folsom Lake.

Someone covered it up with a tarp that said "No porn in our town."

California Sun said it received thousands of responses, most supporting the billboard.
