Construction Crews Tearing Up West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - You may want to put on your hard hat if you're traveling in West Sacramento.
A battalion of heavy equipment crews are tearing through the land around Raley Field knocking down everything in sight.
The tear out is part of the Tower Bridge Gateway Modification Project and it's making the area look like a war zone.
Crews are digging up roadways, parking lots and old abandoned warehouses in preparation for the construction of several hundred homes, a hotel, shops and entertainment center.
