Cloudy, Cool Weather Expected For Thanksgiving Holiday
Whether by plane, train or automobile -- travel weather over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is looking good across Northern California.
Periods of cloudiness mixed with sunshine are expected Wednesday. Afternoon high temperatures will top out in the low 60s for the valley, and winds will be light into the foothills and Sierra as well, with dry conditions and highs in the 50s.
Overnight lows heading into Thanksgiving morning will linger in the low 40s thanks to some cloud cover overhead, with partly sunny skies for the rest of the holiday. That means a bit more clouds than sunshine, but enjoyable high temperatures once again in the low 60s.
A bit more sunshine is anticipated Friday and going into the weekend, with slightly warmer temperatures in the mid 60s.
An approaching storm will begin to cool things off with increasing clouds on Monday. There is a chance of showers moving into the region by Tuesday, with high temperatures falling back into the 50s.
