Clayton Fire Now At 3,000 Acres, Five Percent Contained
LAKE COUNTY (CBS13) -- The Clayton Fire burning in Lake County has grown to 3,000 acres and is just five percent contained, according to the latest update from Cal Fire.
Ten structures have burned and hundreds of homes are threatened. The entire community of Lower Lake has been evacuated along with the southern end of Clearlake.
The fire started Saturday off Highway 29, just south of Lower Lake. The cause is still under investigation.
