Cities Begin Selling Fireworks For First Time In Years
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Starting today, a few cities in our area are selling fireworks for the first time in years.
West Sacramento opened their stands on Tuesday, selling fireworks for the first time in its 24 year history. They have eight stands around the city all run by non-profit groups.
"We're learning a lot. Because it's our first year, we're learning that, plus dealing with the rain," said booth worker Kimberly Dees. "We're going to be so prepared when everybody comes out starting tomorrow."
Lodi is also selling fireworks for the first time. They have six stands around the city. Dixon is selling fireworks for the first time in a decade
