Man Crossing Street Killed By Car Near Antelope

NORTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man crossing the street was struck and killed by a car near Antelope on Friday, the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP said the collision happened at around 4 p.m. in the area of Watt Avenue and Navaho Drive, near Sutter Creek Park.

The victim was only described as a male adult and was said to be in the middle of the roadway. Authorities said the driver remained on the scene to cooperate with law enforcement.
