CHP Cadets Run To Capitol In Time-Honored Tradition
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Proud parents and family members lined Sacramento streets early Wednesday morning, waiting to catch a glimpse of their California Highway Patrol cadet completing a time-honored run.
More than 100 cadets took part in Wednesday's cadet run.
The five-mile run started about 5 a.m. at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento and ended near the California State Capitol at the Peace Officers Memorial.
