Child Reported Abducted Out Of Sonoma County, Amber Alert Issued

SONOMA COUNTY (CBS) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a Guerneville woman suspected of taking her 7-month-old son from the infant's grandmother Sunday, according to authorities.

Sonoma County sheriff's officials announced the abduction Monday morning. An Amber Alert was issued shortly before 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Hannah Ruth Ashley, 35, is believed to have taken the boy, Henry Massey, from his crib at the home of the grandmother, who has legal custody of the child. Ashley made threats to take her child back during recent child visitations, according to the sheriff's office.

Massey is described as a white male with brown hair, gray eyes, and is 2 feet 2 inches long. He weighs 15 pounds.

Ashley is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

The Amber Alert is in effect for the following counties: Sonoma, Marin, Solano, Napa, Mendocino, Lake, Yolo, Sutter, Placer, El Dorado, Nevada, Yuba, Colusa, Glenn, Butte, Sierra, Plumas, Tehama, Humboldt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Modoc, Siskiyou and Del Norte.

Ashley drives a silver 2005 Subaru Forester with California license plate 5JKZ255 similar to the one pictured below.
