Charges Dropped Against Suspect In Drive-By Shooting Of West Sacramento Teen
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Charges have been dropped against a man accused of shooting a 13-year-old West Sacramento girl.
Charges against Sonny Rudy Martinez were dismissed without prejudice as investigators didn't have the evidence to tie him to the crime. However, if more evidence comes forward, a Feb. 23 arraignment date has been scheduled.
Martinez had been facing an attempted murder charge in an Oct. 24 drive-by shooting that wounded Alize Valadez, 13, inside her home.
