CBS13 Takes First Place in Prime Time And Late News During November Ratings Period
With just one day remaining in the November Nielsen ratings period, the CBS13 News at 10pm is the most watched late newscast in Sacramento, Stockton & Modesto.
"Once again, our viewers have made the CBS13 News their first choice of all late newscasts" said Kevin Walsh, VP and General Manager of CBS13. "In a very competitive market, the viewers have spoken and we are honored to be Northern California's late news leader."
In the past year, the CBS13 News at 10pm was the top rated late newscast for seven of the past 12 ratings periods, according to Nielsen.
"We are getting answers that matter to our viewers and they have taken notice" said Cameryn Beck, CBS13 News Director. "I'm very proud of our team and the quality work we put on the air each and every day."
In early news, CBS13 also saw impressive ratings gains at 4, 5 & 6pm. "Throughout the day, we are seeing a trend. More and more viewers are choosing CBS13." Walsh said.
CBS prime programming, including Elementary, Hawaii Five-O and Two and a Half Men, was also the most watched in the market.
