Deputies Investigating 'Suspicious' Death In Carmichael
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Deputies are investigating a death in Carmichael that they are calling suspicious.
At around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, emergency dispatchers received a call reporting that a man who was apparently dead and lying in the roadway. Deputies arrived at the place where the man's body was found, the 5700 block of Marconi Avenue, and found the man lying on the ground with trauma to his upper body not consistent with a gunshot wound, According to Sacramento County Sheriff's Office statement.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sacramento County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Tess Deterding said there was evidence in the parking lot of a nearby Jack in the Box restaurant to indicate that at least a portion of the incident may have happened there.
There is no information about suspects.
