Denair Cargo Train Derailment Snarls Morning Commute
DENAIR (CBS13) - A cargo train derailment just east of Turlock is causing a slow commute for some commuters.
The incident happened at 5:30 p.m. at Santa Fe Avenue and Zeering Road. No one was hurt when the train jumped the tracks.
The cause of the derailment is still being investigated.
Amtrak riders heading south will have to take a bus from Modesto to Merced, where they can get back on the train.
