Car Slams Into Sacramento Building; Driver Runs

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are searching for the driver of vehicle that slammed into a building and then took off running.

The vehicle smashed into a medical building at Scripps Drive just off University and Howe avenues.

Witnesses say they saw the driver get out of the car and start running.

Officers are searching the area for the suspect.

No injuries have been reported.

However, the building has damage inside and out.
