Search Resumes Sunday For Car That Reportedly Drove Into Sacramento River
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - West Sacramento firefighters are searching for a vehicle that reportedly went into the Sacramento River in a rural area.
The car reportedly drove into the river at South River Road just south of Burrows Avenue on Saturday night. Witnesses say they saw a car in the river going under with its lights on. By the time rescue crews arrived, the vehicle had gone under, they say.
Searchers have called off the search for the night. They will resume the search tomorrow when it becomes light.
