Driver Swerves To Avoid Semi, Hits House
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A family woke up to a loud bang after a car crashed into their house.
It happened along Sacramento Avenue at Solano Street late Tuesday night.
West Sacramento Police say the driver claims he swerved to avoid a semi, sending him through a fence, narrowly missing a tree, then hitting the front of a house.
The impact left a hole in the side of the house.
No one, including the driver, was seriously hurt in the crash.
Police say drugs or alcohol did not play a factor.
