Canine Officer Finds Suspect Hiding In Attic
SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A canine officer tracked down a suspect hiding in the attic of a South Sacramento home early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
Sacramento Police went to a home on Cherrywood Circle near Valley Hi Drive to follow up on a domestic violence report after midnight.
When they arrived, they found out their suspect also had a felony warrant for a weapons violation and tried to make an arrest.
After getting everyone out of the house, officers searched the home. A canine officer eventually found the suspect hiding out in the attic.
The man was taken to jail covered in insulation from his hideout.
Police did not release the suspect's identity.
