2 Placerville Homes, Cameron Park Bounce House Business Raided In Connection To Alleged Honey Oil Operation
CAMERON PARK (CBS13) — Bounce house business 'Plan-it Bounce' in Cameron Park is part of a criminal investigation by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office says detectives started the raids on Friday at two homes in Placerville and the business in Cameron Park. All the locations were suspected of being connected to a butane honey oil lab operation.
In total, four people were arrested including the bounce house business' owners Chad Nicolay and Allison Hendricks. Luis Sandoval and Anthony Gaytan were also arrested on manufacturing controlled substance charges and conspiracy.
Deputies released photos taken from several Placerville homes where drug-making butane honey oil equipment was seized.

After the raids, the sheriff's office says pounds of marijuana, concentrated cannabis, lab equipment and cans of butane gas have been seized. In total, detectives found 15,000 used canisters and an additional 150 unused ones.
Nicolay and Hendricks are also arrested on child endangerment charges.
Deputies say those charges are not connected to children at the bounce house business.
"It's insane to me," one Cameron Park mother said. "I mean my son turns four next month and I have his birthday party booked here, so I definitely won't be having his birthday party here."
Tera Turk is Chad Nicolay's ex-girlfriend and the mother of one of his children. She says she's had many court battles with him.
A search of his criminal history in El Dorado County shows a long list of cases.
"Hopefully it all comes out and the truth is exposed," Turk said. "Chad hasn't had a job in over seven years, so I'm not sure how they were able to open up a bounce house, to begin with, no loans no credit of any kind, no work history."
A criminal investigation leading to this place for children to play. A bounce house business, now at the center of an El Dorado County drug bust.
Nicolay is being held in El Dorado County jail for more than $2 million.
