Call Kurtis: My 49ers Ticket Turned Out To Be A Parking Pass!
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Talley Soriano was excited to find a 49ers ticket for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Seattle Seahawks.
It was in Section Green 3B, Row E – for $61.
"I was ecstatic. What a deal!" She said. "I better hurry up and get it before someone else gets it."
The NFL's mobile app had linked her to the NFL ticket exchange - where fans buy and sell tickets.

After she bought it, she called Ticketmaster, the company behind the ticket exchange. It was only then she realized her seat wasn't inside Levi Stadium – it was actually a parking spot outside.
"Kind of sounds like a cruel joke to me," Talley said.
On the NFL ticket exchange website, it promises "Verified by Ticketmaster" tickets.
But, the ticket said nothing about a parking spot.
"I don't need a parking spot, I need a ticket inside." Talley said
She said Ticketmaster refused to refund her and told her to resell the parking pass.
We showed the website to consumer attorney Stuart Talley.
"I've never seen anything like that before," Stuart said. "That is misleading."
We reached out to Ticketmaster, which claimed the individual selling the parking pass erroneously marked it as a ticket instead of a parking pass.
Remember, it said "Verified by Ticketmaster" on the ticket.
And, after we got involved, the company offered Tally a refund, telling CBS13: "We performed a sweep of the system to ensure that similar mistakes have not occurred... and are deploying a system enhancement to eliminate possible confusion in the future."
They also gave Talley a gift card for her trouble.
Talley is no longer going to the game against the Seahawks. After a disappointing experience with Ticketmaster, the die-hard fan will put on her gear and watch the Thanksgiving Day game from home.
"I trusted it and it kind of let me down." Tally said.
According to Ticketmaster, they reached out to the seller to explain how to correctly upload parking passes.
