California Lottery, Gas Stations Let Drivers Play At The Pump
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The California Lottery is making it easier for customers to buy lottery tickets when they fill up at a gas station.
Play At The Pump allows customers to buy Quick Pick tickets from the pump with a credit or debit card, rather than stopping inside a convenience store to buy tickets. The concept covers three California Lottery ticket games—Super Lotto Plus, Mega Millions or Powerball.
Winning tickets less than $600 will be credited back to the same card players used to buy the tickets.
The plan is being rolled out in the Sacramento and Los Angeles areas.
